AI Team Building Competition
Turn your team into AI power users in one unforgettable half-day—creative challenges, big laughs, and a finale worth cheering for. This is the fun offsite: not another day of work homework.
What is AI Team Building Competition?
AI Team Building Competition is a high-energy half-day team experience—think escape room energy, but with AI. You get a short, practical AI skills primer, then teams race to create something creative and fun together (not a work use case for anyone’s job), and cap it off with a lively AI-judged finale.
Most teams book something like an escape room, a cooking class, or a volunteer afternoon—this belongs in that bucket. The point is connection, energy, and a shared story. You still walk away with real exposure to AI tools, but the projects are intentionally not work-related: we give you playful, creative prompts so people relax, take risks, and cheer each other on.
How this differs from our bootcamp: In the Executive AI Training Bootcamp, participants work toward individual job use cases they can take back to their roles. In AI Team Building Competition, nobody is building their department’s workflow. Teams collaborate on something fun—then pitch it like a game-show finale to T.AI. If you want team bonding with AI training in the same spirit as your favorite offsite, this is it: a corporate AI workshop twist, without pretending it is a strategy offsite.
Who is this for?
Swapping an escape room for something fresh? This is a modern, inclusive team experience people talk about afterward—without forcing anyone to present their “real job” project in front of peers.
You want AI adoption to feel approachable. This day gives a shared baseline and vocabulary through play—so the next formal training lands on friendlier ground.
You want bonding first and skills second. This is closer to a great offsite than a skills matrix: big laughs, low ego risk, and a reason for everyone to participate—not just the “tech people.”
Rolling out new AI tools? A playful team day lowers the fear factor before anyone talks governance. It is an on-ramp, not a rollout workshop—save the job-specific builds for deeper programs later.
How it works
Three modules, one arc: learn lightly, build something ridiculous together, compete with smiles—see all services. Need job-specific use cases instead? That is our multi-day AI bootcamp, not this day.
- Light introduction to our framework (Prompt, Refine, Expand, Practice, Apply)—enough to play, not a lecture
- Tour of the AI tools you might use for something silly, surprising, or cinematic
- Quick interactive demo so the room feels safe to experiment
- Creative, playful team challenge—think “best skit,” wild prototype, or absurd product pitch, not a workflow for your day job
- Teams work in parallel with support; the goal is laughter, collaboration, and surprise
- Something share-worthy at the end: a fun artifact your group is proud to present
- Live pitches judged by T.AI, our AI-powered judge
- Real-time transcription and scoring for a fair, transparent finish
- Dramatic animated verdict delivery, celebration, and awards
The AI Judge: T.AI
T.AI is the game-show finish. Teams pitch their fun build live while transcription and scoring keep the energy fair and a little theatrical—clear criteria, transparent scoring, and a dramatic verdict reveal so the room ends on applause, not awkward silence.

Frequently asked questions
What is AI Team Building Competition?
It is a half-day AI team building experience—same “why are we here?” energy as a great escape room or creative offsite, but with AI tools. You get a short skills primer, then teams collaborate on a playful, non-work creative challenge (not a job use case), and finish with a lively, AI-judged finale. The goal is fun, connection, and shared memory first; AI fluency comes along for the ride.
How long does the event take?
The core experience is a half-day format. A typical flow is: Opening and AI Workshop (50–60 minutes), Team Build Time (about 2.5 hours), and The AI Showdown (about 1 hour). Exact timing can shift slightly based on group size, venue, and customization.
Do participants need technical experience?
No. Participants do not need a technical background. The day is built for mixed skill levels: we establish a shared language, teach the framework, and support teams during the build. Everyone can contribute—strategy, storytelling, design, and execution.
How many people can participate?
We can flex to different group sizes. Teams are organized into squads so everyone stays engaged. For very large groups, we adjust the run-of-show, staffing, and rotations. Contact us with your headcount and we will recommend the right format.
What AI tools do teams use?
Teams may work with tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Microsoft Copilot, Gamma, Figma AI, Runway, Notion AI, Replit, and Midjourney—typically 10 or more across the day depending on your goals and approved stack.
What is the Framework?
Our framework is Prompt, Refine, Expand, Practice, Apply (PREPA-style delivery). In this competition we use it so teams can play effectively with AI on a creative challenge—think clearer prompts, tighter constraints, wilder ideas—not so everyone ships a work deliverable by 5pm.
Can this be customized for our industry?
Yes, usually in a light-touch way: we can theme the fun challenge (tone, examples, “world” you play in) and adjust tools to your approved stack. This day is still intentionally not a job-specific build—if you need industry-scenario use cases, our Executive AI Bootcamp is the better fit.
What is T.AI, the AI Judge?
T.AI runs the finale like a game show: live transcription, structured scoring on five criteria (including creativity and wow factor—each scored out of 10), and a dramatic animated verdict so teams get a clear winner and a memorable ending.
How is AI Team Building Competition different from the Executive AI Bootcamp?
In the Executive AI Training Bootcamp, participants work toward individual job-relevant use cases they can take back to their roles. AI Team Building Competition is team-first: creative, fun prompts; projects are not work assignments. If you need execution depth and role-based deliverables, choose the bootcamp. If you need an offsite-style bond with AI in the mix, choose this competition.
