Elevate AI Consulting Is Now a Nationally Certified LGBT Business Enterprise (LGBTBE)

I want to tell you what this certification actually means to me, not just what it means for the business.

I launched Elevate AI Consulting in November 2024. I was unemployed. I had just come out of a long corporate career that had slowly drained me, and I made a bet on myself at a moment when the AI industry was exploding and most businesses had no idea what to do with it. I had an MBA, years of international business development and marketing experience, and a clear-eyed view of the gap between what AI could do and what organizations were actually able to execute. That was enough to start.

What I did not have was a certification, a client roster, or any guarantee this would work.

A year and a half later, Elevate AI Consulting has trained teams at Fortune 500 companies, delivered AI workshops and bootcamps from Miami to New York, helped organizations get discovered through AI-powered search with Answer Engine Optimization, built custom AI tools that cut manual work by 80% or more, and served as a Fractional Chief AI Officer for a hospitality group. None of that changes who I am. I am a gay, Latino immigrant. I built this business as all of those things simultaneously, in a political moment that is not exactly making it easy to be any of them. And I built it here, in Miami, in a community that has supported me from the beginning.

The Miami-Dade LGBTQ+ & Allied Chamber of Commerce (MDGLCC) was one of my earliest supporters. Long before this certification existed for Elevate AI, I was showing up, delivering workshops for their members, building relationships, learning what it meant to run a business inside a community that actually shows up for each other. When it came time to pursue NGLCC certification MDGLCC team were the ones who pointed me in the right direction and helped me get across the finish line.

The NGLCC certification process is not a rubber stamp. It involves full business verification, ownership documentation, an independent site visit, and affiliate chamber endorsement. NGLCC has over 450 corporate partners and 2,800 certified businesses in its network. This is the largest LGBT business certification in the United States, and Elevate AI Consulting now holds it.

This one says: a gay Latino immigrant started a company from nothing in 2024, built something real, and got it verified by the largest LGBT business organization in the country.
